Hello!

I'm doula Monique, a mom of three boys, I am a homeschooling parent, and I've personally experienced two water births with my two younger children. We just recently moved to Kincardine, Ontario!

My birth with a doula inspired me to empower other birthers that the process is a beautiful and miraculous moment. With that, I want to inspire other birthers to discover their intrinsic strength to also achieve their dream birth, together with their family and support persons.

Creating a safe space for birthers for a loving and gentle birth is my main goal.  Every birther deserves to have someone to guide and assist them in making educated choices, and I am here to provide unbiased information, and physical and emotional support.

About Silang

Silang - Tagalog word meaning birth; rise (of the sun); sunrise

When I was coming up with a name for what I do, naturally I thought of the word SILANG which is a Tagalog word for birth, and also means sunrise

In this journey, not only is a baby birthed but it is also the birth and transformation of the family. As we celebrate this new phase in your life, let us think of it as an opportunity for new beginnings as beautiful as the sunrise.
